Spark part of team short-listed for ACT Solar farm

The ACT government today announced the short-list of tenderers to build own and operate the ACT 86,000 MWh per year solar facility. Spark Solar Australia is proud to be a key founding member of one of the successful bid teams, EMC Solar. Should the consortium's PV solar farm bid be successful, Spark will be in part responsible for supplying solar panels for the 55+ MW facility. Industry expert endorses PV manufacturing in Australia

Centrotherm CTO Dr Peter Fath today delivered a keynote address to a packed house at UNSW on the future of photovoltaics manufacturing and the enormous potential for manufacturing in Australia, before Spark's Dr Michelle McCann outlined their detailed plans for manufacturing high-tech solar products here in Australia using state-of-the-art technology and utilising Australia's enormous R&D skills-base in photovoltaic technology.

Spark gets the thumbs up from Rudd Government
